The Docklands area of Melbourne offers the perfect playground for a social skate. Plenty of smooth scenic pathways as picturesque Melbourne surrounds you. Quads and Inline inclusive, the Wednesday night skate is a friendly group recreational cruise over relatively smooth surfaces.
The group meets at the "Cow up a tree sculpture" and departs at 8pm. This skate is suitable for intermediate to experienced skaters.

This is the spiritual child of Melbourne Freeride social skates, a group that ran for over three years and put skating back into the lives of Melbournians again!
It is strongly recommended that you know how to stop, turn and navigate general street terrain before coming.
For the more advanced skaters, there are always opportunities to test your skills on the urban terrain that surrounds. Minimum requirements are being able to stop, turn and skate over varied terrain and some hills.
The skate follows a figure 8 route, so we pass the start point mid-way through the skate, so don't worry if you're not sure about the distance first up.
This is purely a casual social event and by participating you always skate at your own risk. Protective gear is strongly recommended and you are completely responsible for your own safety. Always skate on the footpaths and avoid the road for safety reasons.
